Our Mission
The Mauritius Scouts Association exists to promote the welfare of scouting and contribute to the education of young people through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law.
Our mission is to develop responsible citizens and strong character by cultivating loyalty, patriotism, and kindness towards others. By encouraging observation, service to the community, and respect for nature, we aim to foster the physical, mental, and spiritual development of young people, enabling them to become self‑fulfilled individuals who play a constructive role in society.
Our Vision
Inspired by the vision of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM), the Mauritius Scouts Association aspires to be the nation’s most inspiring and inclusive youth movement. We seek to create transformative learning experiences that empower every young person in Mauritius to grow in character, serve their community, and contribute meaningfully to building a better world.
